Dear Friends
My new album is here, TRUE PROMISE. the follow up to “Awakening Imagination”. This one is inspired by the Dub pioneers, King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, Lee Perry. A friend described it as ‘Suicide produced by the Mad Professor’ which I’m incredibly flattered by, but its actually a decent description of it and definitely points to the influences on show. I hope you all like it.
To celebrate this new album I’ll be performing LIVE for the first time in 2 years. I’ll be accompanied by my good friend, synth wizard and long time collaborator, Simon Willey from Mudlark Sound Studios.
We’ll be supporting the incredible The Jonny Halifax Invocation at this wonderful venue in London on Friday 19th June. I’m a big fan of what Jonny has been doing over the years and we’ve played some shows together in the past so this feels very special to me. It’s going to be a BLAST!
It’s now SOLD OUT too i’m reliably informed so hopefully some of you already have tickets. I’m really looking forward to playing some of these songs for the first time.
I’ve made some lovely ltd edition CD’s which you can buy at the gig or on the bandcamp page.
